It’s finally spring here and the flowers are in full bloom, but I’m still working through the rolls I shot over the winter. I returned to the Lomography Berlin Kino 400, one the emulsions in the company’s lineup of black and white cine films.
The Darkroom‘s website describes the look as “Berlin Kino 400 is a cine film inspired by 1960’s German Cinema has very low contrast with subtle tones and while the grain is more noticeable.” Grainy, certainly, and if the description is accurate, well suited for the grey days of February by which time the cold and snow have worn out their welcome.
