Butaichiro, Asakusabashi, Tokyo

Buta-ichiro, Asakusabashi, Tokyo

One more shot from the Asakusabashi neighborhood. This is a little stand-up bar along the JR railroad tracks, which are elevated. This is a place for locals and commuters who use the station. Pretty typical scene around a lot of the less stations around the city that aren’t dominated by big department stores, chains and discount shops.  When the place was full, the owner set up tables outside, planks laid on top of stacked beer crates. Buta-ichiro seemed especially popular as it always had a crowd.
