Photo a day: May 4 – skylight

I caught the light coming through a skylight on to a mural on the ceiling of  an airport waiting lounge. Reminds me of the aperture of a camera lens.

This one was shot with an Olympus XA, a favorite travel companion. It’s small, a true rangefinder, the clamshell cover protects the works well, and absolutely reliable. I can’t complain about the 35mm f2.8 lens either. The only complaint I have is that the focus lever on the lens is tiny and a bit hard to find by feel, and that slows me down.
