A couple more photo links

The New York Times had an interesting article about the market for photographs, how the ability of amateurs happy to just see their pics published was seriously eating into work available for professionals. Another fall out from the digital/Internet upheaval. See “For Photographers, the Image of a Shrinking Path “(March 29, 2010).

The online magazine Burn describes itself as “an evolving journal for emerging photographers.” There are some stunning photographs there and I love to look through the site’s gallery. The photos are interesting and beautiful in themselves, but I get to see how different lighting, perspectives, etc. work.

Remember Life magazine? It’s still around — at least online — and still a great place for photos.
